Emily Albertha Bullock

Mrs. Emily "Albertha" Bullock age 83, daughter of the late Junuis Brown and Mary Dolly, was born January 14, 1934 in Georgetown, South Carolina.  She passed away on Sunday September 10, 2017 at the Isabella Geriatric Center in New York, NY.
Mrs. Bullock worked for over thirty years as an educator in the New York City public school system at the local public school in her community in Brooklyn, NY.  After her retirement she returned to work for a few more years in her community as a substitute teacher.
She was preceded in death by her late husband Mr. Haywood J. Bullock Sr. of Warren County, NC and their son Robert Bullock of Brooklyn, NY. 
She is survived by her five children Joyce Bullock, Albert Bullock, Theresa Bullock, Benjamin Bullock, William H. Bullock and their spouses. Seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, one sister, two first cousins, two best friends and a host of family and friends.
The funeral service will be conducted Saturday, September 23, 2017 at 11:00am at Manson Missionary Baptist Church in Manson, NC. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 10:00am until 11:00am at the church.
