Elizabeth S. Florence

Mrs. Elizabeth  Snider Florence  passed away on Saturday, December 23, 2023.  Her service will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, January 11, 2024 at Union Baptist Church 904 N. Roxboro Street Durham, NC 27701. Interment will follow in Chapel Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the church on Thursday from 12:30 pm to 1:00 pm prior to the service.  

Cherishing her loving memory are:  her children, Joyce V. Vega, James A. Snider (Kathy), Fredrick W. Snider; five grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren; one special cousin/brother, Willie Seward; nine sisters, Gladys, Candance, Gloria (James), Marion (Lodise), Carolyn (John), Naomi (William), Agretta, Andrea (Pierre) and Carman (Long); two brothers, Alvis (Olivia) and Jerry; one sister-in-law, India "Doll" Bailey; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

Arrangements are entrusted to Burthey Funeral Service of Durham, North Carolina.
