Edith Alston Anderson

With loving arms of compassion and understanding, R. H. Greene is offering sympathy to the loved ones of Mrs. Edith Alston Anderson, age 88 of 1305 East River Road in Louisburg, North Carolina.  Mrs. Anderson transitioned on Friday, March 12, 2021 at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh, North Carolina.

She is survived by:  her devoted, beloved husband James Teo Anderson; daughters, Betty Jean Woods, Tamani Robin Powell (William); five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; three sisters-in-law, Nan Dunston (Claude), Annie Graham and Louise Cox; She also leaves to mourn a special daughter, Bernice Egerton; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

A Walk Through Viewing will be held on Friday, March 19, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Nelson Chapel Baptist Church, 100 Leonard Farm Road, Louisburg, North Carolina.

A Private Celebration of Life will be conducted on Friday, March 19, 2021 at 12:00 noon.  The Reverend William E. Maddox, III., will officiate and interment will follow in the Oakwood Cemetery, Louisburg, North Carolina.
