Dolly A. Nicholson

When we all get to Heaven, what a day of rejoicing that will be; when we all see Jesus, we will sing and shout the Victory.  With compassion, R. H. Greene Funeral Home is offering comfort to the loved ones of Mrs. Dolly A. Nicholson, age 91 of the Parktown Community, Warrenton, North Carolina.  Mrs. Nicholson transitioned on Sunday, July 23, 2023 at the Broward Health in Coral Springs, Florida.  

A Celebration of Life will be conducted on Saturday, August 12, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. in the sanctuary of Spring Green Missionary Baptist Church in Warrenton, North Carolina.  The Reverend Nolan  R. Davis will officiate and Reverend Dr. Kay Albury will deliver the eulogy.  Interment will follow in the Nicholson Family Cemetery in Warrenton, North Carolina.

Everlasting memories will forever be cherished by:  Her Children: Mechelle Aisha Nicholson, Sadie Nicholson, Bernice Nicholson Jr.;  Adopted Children: RIcardo Knowles (Tracey) and Roshawn Donkar (Kingsley); Grandchildren: Shanda Campbell, Mikus Mikula (Roxan), Michelle Mikula-Smith (Roberto), Cutelle Neymour, Mercy Holloway, Brian Jason Williams, Orneika Senatus (Antonio), Katherine Russell and Romana Ferguson (Kermit); Great-Grandchildren: Miguel Davis, Izaiah Smith, Rashan, Rayvonne and Raynecia Campbell,  Mikyrah and Meliah Mikula, Julianna, Aiyden Senatus, Chrishantie Edgecombe and Kaalen Ferguson; 5 Great Great Grandchildren; Siblings: Yvonne Thompson, Austin Knowles (Iris), Miriam Knowles, Rose Whitehead, Clint Knowles and Leroy Nicholson; God Child: Gwendolyn Knowles; over 50 Nieces and Nephews, and a host of other family, friends, and close relatives in Warrenton, North Carolina and Palmetto Point, Eleuthera.

Mrs. Nicholson will lie in repose at R. H. Greene Funeral Home on Friday, August 11, 2023 from 12:00 noon until 6:00 p.m. and on Saturday, August 12, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service in Spring Green Baptist Church Sanctuary.
