Dennis Ray Henderson

Pass Me Not, O Gentle Savior, hear my humble cry, do not pass me by.  R. H. Greene is offering comfort to the loved ones of Mr. Dennis Ray Henderson, age 77 of Boydton, Virginia.  Mr. Henderson transitioned on Wednesday, September 18, 2024 at the Chase City Health and Rehabilitation Center in Chase City, Virginia.

A Celebration of Life will be conducted on Sunday, September 29, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. in the sanctuary of Oak Level United Church of Christ in Manson, North Carolina.  The Reverend John E. Jefferson will officiate and interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Everlasting memories will forever be cherished by:  his daughter, Tonya Williams of Garner, North Carolina; seven grandchildren, Ashley Williams, Coy Talley, Ryland Talley, Rayah Henderson, Vanisha Graham, Dennisha Henderson and Ahmed Henderson; seven great-grandchildren, Chadwick Williams, Kayden Williams, Kennedi Williams, Avery Williams, Ryland "Gio" Talley, Sevyn Koonce and Tru Henderson Outlaw; one brother, Bernell "Tony" Henderson of Washington, D.C.; a niece raised as a sister, Alice "Moose" Henderson of Norlina, North Carolina; one sister-in-law, Annie Henderson of Manson, North Carolina; one uncle, Reverend Junious Henderson of Manson, North Carolina; special friends and cousin, Alford Epps (Ella) and William "Bill" Tanner" and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

Mr. Henderson will lie in repose on Saturday, September 28, 2024 from 12:00 noon until 6:00 p.m. in the chapel of R. H. Greene Funeral Home.
