Greene Funeral Home is offering comfort to the relatives of Deacon Charlie "Jay-Bird" Johnson, age 83 of Warrenton, North Carolina.  Mr. Johnson transitioned on Saturday, May 18, 2024 at the Warren Hills Nursing Center in Warrenton, North Carolina.  

A viewing will be held on Tuesday, May 28, 2024 from 12:00 noon until 5:00 p.m. in the chapel of R. H. Greene Funeral Home.

He is survived by siblings, nieces, nephews, church family, and many friends.
