Danny Ray Davis

When the great crowd shall gather and you hear the church bell tone, I'll be resting in my home beyond the sky.  R. H. Greene Funeral Home is offering comfort and compassion to the family of Mr. Danny Ray Davis, age 69 of Warrenton, North Carolina.  Mr. Davis transitioned on Sunday, November 26, 2023 at the Maria Parham Medical Center in Henderson, North Carolina.

A Celebration of Life will be conducted on Monday, December 4, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. in the sanctuary of Coley Springs Missionary Baptist Church in Warrenton, North Carolina.  The Reverend Carson F. Jones, Jr., Pastor will officiate and Reverend Kathard Marks will deliver the eulogy.  Interment will follow in the Davis Family Cemetery in Warrenton, North Carolina.

Everlasting memories will forever be cherished by:  three daughters, Aimee Anderson Cooper (Tyrone) of Wise, North Carolina, Porsche Coppin (Alfonzo) of Fayetteville, North Carolina and Charlene Mangum (Dwight) of Columbia, South Carolina; four grandchildren, Alexis King of Greer, South Carolina, Marsalis Anderson of Warrenton, North Carolina, Vincent Coppin of Mooresville, North Carolina and Xavier Russell of Warrenton, North Carolina; four brothers, Larry Davis (Nancy) of Durham, North Carolina, Ralph Davis, Anders Davis and Frank Davis all of Warrenton, North Carolina; one god-sister, Lynne Withers of Baltimore, Maryland; a special friend who was his caretaker, Mattie Anderson of Norlina, North Carolina; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.

Mr. Davis will lie in repose on Sunday, December 3, 2023 from 12:00 noon until 5:00 p.m. in the chapel of R. H. Greene Funeral Home.
