Carolyn Lee Davis McLaurin

Though the clouds may hang over, there will be a brighter day, in that land they called Heaven, God shall wipe all tears away.  R. H. Greene Funeral Home is offering comfort and compassion to the loved ones of Mrs. Carolyn McLaurin, age 65 of the Parktown Community, Warrenton, North Carolina.  Mrs. McLaurin transitioned in the comfort of her home on Wednesday, November 23, 2022.

A Celebration of Life will be conducted on Friday, December 2, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. in the sanctuary of Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church in Warrenton, North Carolina.  The Reverend John E. Gooch, Pastor will officiate and Chaplin Melissa Fretwell will deliver the eulogy.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Everlasting memories will forever be cherished by:  her loving son, Anthony (Princess) Moore of Warrenton, North Carolina; one granddaughter, Aaliyah Moore of Warrenton, North Carolina; one God-son, Josh Williams of Oxford, North Carolina; two sisters, Annie "Pete" Winston of Franklinton, North Carolina and Shirley Foster of Warrenton, North Carolina; one brother, Anthony "Tony" Davis of Warrenton, North Carolina; two uncles, Rogers (Jean) Davis of Warrenton, North Carolina and William (Nannie) Davis of New Jersey; two aunts, Edna (Morris) James of New York and Magnolia Caudle of Warrenton, North Carolina; one nephew, Lawrence (Claudine) Winston, Jr. of Henderson, North Carolina; two nieces, Faith Davis of Bunn, North Carolina and Maya Crudup of Wake Forest, North Carolina; one great niece, Taja (Carlos) Evans of Wake Forest, North Carolina; one great-nephew, Lawrence Winston, III of Charlotte, North Carolina; one great-great nephew, Chase Evans of Wake Forest, North Carolina; one great-great niece, Zoe Evans of Wake Forest, North Carolina; two close friends, Kelvin L. Fields of Warrenton, North Carolina and Diana Scott Maultsby of Baltimore, Maryland; a host of loving cousins, co-workers and friends.

Mrs. McLaurin will lie in repose on Thursday, December 1, 2022 from 12:00 noon until 5:00 p.m. in the chapel of R. H. Greene Funeral Home and at the church on Friday one hour prior to the service.
