Carla Silver

What a friend we have in Jesus, all our sins and griefs to bear, what a privilege to carry, everything to God in prayer.  With care and compassion, R. H. Greene Funeral Home is standing with the relatives of Ms. Carla Silver, age 55 of Whitakers, North Carolina, formerly of Warren County, North Carolina.  Ms. Silver transitioned on Friday, December 22, 2023 at Nash UNC Hospital in Rocky Mount, North Carolina.

A Celebration of Life will be conducted on Wednesday, December 27, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. in the sanctuary of Pine Chapel Baptist Church in Hollister, North Carolina.  Reverend Robert Hedgpeth, Pastor will officiate and Apostle Chris Silver will deliver the eulogy.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Everlasting memories will forever be cherished by:  two sons, Jamie Silver (Tanaya Lynch) of Hollister, North Carolina and Christian Silver of the home; one grandson, Julian Silver; her mother, Dorothy Silver of Warrenton, North Carolina; her father, Carl Carter of Arizona; four siblings, Sylvia Silver Richardson of Warrenton, North Carolina, Apostle Chris Silver of Raleigh, North Carolina, Sheldon Silver of New York, New York and Raquel Carter of Virginia; a special niece and nephew she considered as her own, Camille Richardson of Zebulon, North Carolina and Darvin "Big Skip" Richardson, Jr., of Knightdale, North Carolina; one special great nephew, Carson and two special great-nieces, Alana and Kaylee; two aunts, Christine Evans of Warrenton, North Carolina and Betty Silver of Rocky Mount, North Carolina; several nieces, nephews and a host of cousins, classmates and friends.

Ms. Silver will lie in repose on Tuesday, December 26, 2023 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in the chapel of R. H. Greene Funeral Home.

The family will receive visitors and friends at the home of Dorothy Silver, 395 Tutelo Road, Warrenton, North Carolina.
