Bettie J. "Beedee" Burnette

Swing Low, sweet chariot, coming for to carry me home.  With hearts of love, R. H. Greene Funeral Home is offering comfort to the loved ones of Mrs. Bettie J. "Beedee" Burnette, age 87 of the Wise Community.  Mrs. Burnette transitioned on Monday, June 16, 2025 at the Maria Parham Medical Center in Henderson, North Carolina.

A Celebration of Life will be conducted on Monday, June 23, 2025 at 12:00 noon in the sanctuary of Russell Union Church in Norlina, North Carolina.  The Reverend Daniel King, Pastor will officiate, The Reverend Kathard Marks will deliver the eulogy and interment will follow in the New Providence Christian Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Wise, North Carolina.

Everlasting memories will forever be cherished by:  one daughter, Brenda Spruill of Wise, North Carolina; one daughter-in-law, Deborah Jones of Wise, North Carolina; six grandchildren,; Major Claiborne, III, Walter Spruill, Mack D. Jones, Jr., Christopher Jones, Wallace Alvin Jones, Kenneth Phillips, twenty-two great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren; two sisters, Rosa Jones of Wise, North Carolina and Nannie Jones of Norlina, North Carolina; her mother-in-law, Daisy Russell Burnette of Brooklyn, New York; seven sisters-in-law, six brothers-in law, a special niece, Cheril Jones; a special friend, Dr. Yvette Douglas-Lewis;  a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Mrs. Burnette will lie in repose on Sunday, June 22, 2025 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at R. H. Greene Funeral Home.

The family will receive visitors and friends at 120 Ruritan Lane, Wise, North Carolina.
