Bertha Marie Debnam Brown

Pass Me Not, O Gentle Savior, hear my humble cry.  R. H. Greene Funeral Home is offering comfort and compassion to the loved ones of Mrs. Bertha Marie Debnam Brown, age 92 of Plantation, Florida.  Mrs. Brown transitioned on Monday, September 27, 2021 at her residence.

A Celebration of Life will be conducted on Saturday, October 9, 2021 in the chapel of R. H. Greene Funeral Home beginning with a visitation at 11:00 a.m. and service to follow at 11:30 a.m. John Shelton Woodard will officiate and Bishop Marcus Debnam will officiate.  Interment will follow in the Brown Family Cemetery on Shocco Springs Road in Warrenton, North Carolina.

Mrs. Brown leaves to cherish her everlasting memories:  one sister, Celestine Cason (Royal Palm Beach, FL); children, Joyce Baucum (Eugene) Menlo Park, NJ, Juanita Kinchelow (Jeff) Lauderhill, FL, Connie Morton (Roy) Bethlehem, PA, and Marlon L. Brown (Kathy) Montclair, NJ; nine grandchildren, Tosca Kulendran (Naresh), Kimm  Gourdine (Tyshun), Vernon Dennison (Danielle), Kaili Sanderson (Dexter), Kelli Brown (Robert), Keri Spencer (Joseph), Amber Brown, Leila Brown, and Marlon Brown; 21 great-grandchildren; four sisters-in-law, Ethel Debnam, Barbara Debnam, Esther Van Jones, Laura Harris (Leon), and a host of nieces, nephews, and countless other family, church family and friends.

Mrs. Brown will lie in repose on Friday, October 8, 2021 from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in the chapel of R. H. Greene Funeral Home.
