One of these mornings and it won't be long, you'll look for me and I'll be gone, I'll just walk around Heaven all day.  With hearts of sympathy, R. H. Greene Funeral Home is standing with the relatives and friends of Mr. Antony Lamont Hinton, Sr., age 55 of Warrenton, North Carolina.  Mr. Hinton transitioned on Friday, November 7, 2025 at the Wake Medical Center in Raleigh, North Carolina.

A Celebration of Life will be conducted on Saturday, November 15, 2025 at 3:00 p.m. in the sanctuary of Locust Grove Baptist Church in Warrenton, North Carolina.  The Reverend Kendell Riddick, Pastor will officiate and Reverend Kenneth Alexander will deliver the eulogy.

Everlasting memories will forever be cherished by:  one son, Antony Lamont Hinton, Jr. (Sophia) of Bracey, Virginia; children whom he reared, Brandon Davis of Warrenton, North Carolina, Steven Davis of Savannah, Georgia, Malik Davis of Oxford, North Carolina, Tony Richardson of Henderson, North Carolina, Asha Crews of Warrenton, North Carolina and Wanya Alston (Tammara) of Franklinton, North Carolina; twenty-three grandchildren; his step-mother, Brenda Shields of Washington, D.C.; five sisters, Sharlene Hinton, Odessa Hinton, both of Warrenton, North Carolina, Sonya Shields, Pandora Shields, both of Washington, D.C. and Armenta Coleman of Suitland, Maryland; five brothers, Jerry Hinton of Manson, North Carolina, Derrick Shields of District Heights, Maryland, Cameron Shields of Clinton, Maryland, Samuel Shields, Jr. of Delaware and Keith Barnes (Kris) of Knightdale, North Carolina; one god-sister, Veta Clark (Phillip) of Welcome, Maryland; one uncle, Ivory Hinton (Lisa) of Richmond, Virginia; six aunts, Effie G. Hinton of Glen Dale, Maryland, Florence Hinton of South Hill, Virginia, Lucille Hinton of Wise, North Carolina, Virginia Hinton of California, Beatrice Hinton of Macon, North Carolina and Linda Hinton of Henderson, North Carolina; special nieces and nephews he considered his own, Danyel Hinton, George Feggins, Antoinette Bullock and Dequante Hinton; special friends Keith Shaw, Freddie G. Alston, Chad Fogg, Garrett Hendrick and Vance Williams; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.

Mr. Hinton will lie in repose on Friday, November 14, 2025 from 1:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at R. H. Greene Funeral Home.

The family will receive visitors and friends at the home of Deloris Mayo, 286 Liberation Road, Norlina, North Carolina.
