Anthony Glenn Alston

During this moment of mixed emotions, R. H. Greene Funeral Home is offering comfort and compassion to the loved ones of Mr. Anthony Alston, age 49 of 439 Gum Pond Road, Warrenton, North Carolina who transitioned on Monday, December 14, 2020 at the Maria Parham Medical Center in Henderson, North Carolina.

A Celebration of Life will be conducted on Saturday, December 19, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of R. H. Greene Funeral Home.  Interment will follow in the Fork Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery in the Inez Community.

He leaves to celebrate his life:  three daughters, Amira Alston, Takiere Alston and Ashya Alston all of Durham, North Carolina; two sons, Anthony “AJ” Alston and Antonio Alston, both of Oxford, North Carolina; two grandchildren; his biological mother, Eula Hedgepeth of Robersonville, North Carolina; three sisters, Bernetta Alston of Warrenton, North Carolina, Teresa Alston of Clinton, North Carolina and Joi Miles (Curtis) of Bahama, North Carolina; one brother, Eric Mays (Sandra) of Apex, North Carolina; a special friend, Daila Magbie; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

He was raised by the late John R. Alston and Agnes Dent Alston in the Inez Community.

Mr. Alston will lie in repose in the chapel of R. H. Greene Funeral Home on Friday, December 18, 2020 from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
