Ann Marie Shaw

We thank God for Momma, she taught us how to pray and she showed us the right way.  We know one day we will see her in Heaven someday, so we thank God for Momma.  R. H. Greene Funeral Home is offering comfort and compassion to the loved ones of Mrs. Ann Marie Shaw, age 91 of 158 Peoples Drive, Norlina, North Carolina.  Mrs. Shaw transitioned on Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at her residence.

A Celebration of Life will be conducted on Saturday, April 24, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at the Warren County Middle School Gymnasium in Warrenton, North Carolina.  The Reverend Kenneth Alexander will officiate and interment will follow in the Locust Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Wise, North Carolina.

Those left to cherish everlasting memories are:  two daughters, Clara Bullock of Manson, North Carolina and Barbara Shaw-Johnson of Norlina, North Carolina; four sons, Charles Shaw of Wise, North Carolina, Dentis Shaw of Charlotte, North Carolina, Floyd Shaw of Wise, North Carolina and David Shaw (Patricia) of Macon, North Carolina; thirty grandchildren; fifty great-grandchildren; twelve great-great grandchildren; one daughter in law, Brenda Shaw of Wise, North Carolina;  two brothers in law, Andrew Louis Hunt and John Roberts, both of Warrenton, North Carolina; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Mrs. Shaw will lie in repose in the chapel of R. H. Greene Funeral Home on Friday, April 23, 2021 from 12:00 noon until 7:00 p.m.

The family will receive visitors and friends at the home of Charles Shaw, 131 James Boyd Drive, Wise, North Carolina.

All attendees are asked to wear a mask and social distancing will be enforced.
