Alvis Jamelle Allen

Precious Lord, take my hand, lead me on and let me stand.  With loving hearts, R. H. Greene Funeral Home is standing with the relatives of Mr. Alvis J. Allen, age 39 of Norlina, North Carolina.  Mr. Allen transitioned on Tuesday, January 28, 2025 in Warren County, North Carolina.

A Celebration of Life will be conducted on Saturday, February 15, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. in the sanctuary of Ridgeway Missionary Baptist Church in Norlina, North Carolina.  The Reverend Nicole Jones will officiate and interment will follow in the Baskett, Allen and Hall Family Cemetery.

Everlasting memories will forever be cherished by:  two daughters, Aiyana and Jayla Allen, both of Brooklyn, New York; his father, Michael Alvis Allen of Ridgeway, North Carolina; his mother, Karen Williams of Brooklyn, New York; his grandfather, Alvis Allen of the home; two brothers, Reshard Williams (Caroline) of Newport News, Virginia and Kaylon Allen of Austin, Texas; one sister, Karen "Kay-Kay" Williams of Brooklyn, New York; two nephews, Micah Williams and Kannon Hendricks; two nieces, Brielle Hendricks and Kemera Williams; a very special aunt, Barbara Melinda Allen Crump (Peddro) of Clinton, Maryland; two uncles, Robert Evans (Ella) of Henderson, North Carolina and Michael Williams of Baltimore, Maryland; two very special brothers/friends, Richard Taylor and Darius "Ootie" Williams; a host of great aunts, great uncles, cousins, relatives and friends.

Mr. Allen will lie in repose at R. H. Greene Funeral Home on Friday, February 14, 2025 from 12:00 noon until 7:00 p.m.

The family will receive visitors at the home of Mr. Alvis Allen, Jr., 511 Collins Road, Norlina, North Carolina.
