Alvin Lewis Burchette

Pass me not, o gentle Savior; hear my humble cry.  While on others, thou art calling, do not pass me by.  With care and service, R. H. Greene Funeral Home is offering comfort to the loved ones of Mr. Alvin Burchette, age 65 of Manson, North Carolina.  Mr. Burchette transitioned on Thursday, October 12, 2023 at the Maria Parham Medical Center in Henderson, North Carolina.

A Celebration of Life will be conducted on Saturday, October 21, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. in the sanctuary of Burchette Chapel United Church of Christ in Manson, North Carolina.  Reverend Phyllis Elam will officiate and Reverend Mary Jerman will deliver the eulogy.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Everlasting memories will forever be cherished by: two sisters, Rosa Marie Hargrove of Oxford, North Carolina and Patricia Burchette Powell of South Hill, Virginia; one brother-in-law, Calvin Lorenzo Powell of South Hill, Virginia; one sister-in-law, Marjorie Moss of Manson, North Carolina; two special friends, Matthew Durham and Alphonso Fogg, both of Manson, North Carolina; a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.

Mr. Burchette will lie in repose on Friday, October 20, 2023 from 12:00 noon until 5:00 p.m. in the chapel of R. H. Greene Funeral Home.

The family will receive visitors and friends at the home of Patricia Burchette Powell, 515 Culpepper Road, Manson, North Carolina.
