Algie McKinley "Junie" Green

Time is filled with swift transitions, naught on earth unmoved can stand, build your hopes on things eternal and hold to God’s unchanging hands.  With compassion, R. H. Greene Funeral Home is offering comfort to the loved ones of Mr. Algie M. "Junie" Green, age 66 of Norlina, North Carolina.  Mr. Green transitioned on Monday, July 15, 2024 at Duke Medical Center in Durham, North Carolina.

A Celebration of Life will be conducted on Saturday, July 20, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. in the sanctuary of Bethlehem Christian Church in Manson, North Carolina.  The Reverend Elizabeth Brame, Pastor will officiate and Reverend Mack Talley will deliver the eulogy.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Everlasting memories will forever be cherished by:  two children, Algie Stefan Greene (Kantesha) and Shana Gabrielle Greene (Ashley), both of Norlina, North Carolina; three grandchildren, Makayla, Elijah and Kvon; two sisters, Sharon Terry (Lawrence) of Richmond, Virginia and Perceda Faulcon of Wise, North Carolina; two brothers, Clifton Greene  (Sandra) of Brimington, Washington and Joseph Greene (Teresa) of Virginia Beach, Virginia; three aunts and three uncles; one sister-in-law, Mildred Perry (Robert) of Warrenton, North Carolina; two brothers-in-law, David Marrow and Walter Marrow, both of Palmer Springs, Virginia; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.   

Mr. Green will lie in repose on Friday, July 19, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in the chapel of R. H. Greene Funeral Home.

The family will receive visitors and friends at the home of Algie Stefan Green in Norlina, North Carolina.
