Alfreda "Freda" Edwards

Precious Lord, take my hand, lead me on and let me stand.  With loving hearts, R. H. Greene Funeral Home is standing with the relatives and friends of Mrs. Alfreda "Freda"  Edwards, age 52 of Youngsville, North Carolina.  A native of Warren County, Mrs. Edwards transitioned on Thursday, March 19, 2026 at her residence.

A Celebration of Life will be conducted on Sunday, March 29, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. in the Warren County Middle School Gymnasium.  Bishop J. Terrell Alston will officiate, Reverend Antoinette Jones will deliver the eulogy.  Interment will follow in the Whites Grove Christian Church in Norlina, North Carolina. 

Everlasting memories will forever be cherished by:  two children, Pariz Brown and William "Deuce" Silver, II.; a special friend, Ricardo Moore; her father, Alfred Edwards (Patricia); fourteen siblings, Felecia Solomon, Lovelace Edwards, Timothy Scott, Keith Barnes (Klarissa), Ashley Hinton, Michelle Hinton, Latonya Hinton, Carmichael Hinton (Mary), Shronda Gaye, Trenton Gill (Crystal), Tabitha Reid, Corey Twitty, Francisco Scott (Nina) and Danny Scott; an adopted mother, Patricia Davis (Wilbert); three adopted sisters, Reverend Antoinette Jones, Marla Goode-Bullock and Terry Blackmond; eleven aunts and uncles, Gladys Edwards, Lucille Edwards, Benjamin Edwards (Joyce), Viselle Edwards, Joseph Edwards (Sharon), Jeremiah Edwards (Linda), Leonard Edwards, Willie Prince Hawkins, Effie G. Hinton and Lisa Hinton; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.

Ms. Edwards will lie in repose on Saturday, March 28, 2026 in the chapel of R. H. Greene Funeral Home from 12:00 noon until 6:00 p.m.

The family will receive visitors and friends at the home, 185 Spotted Bee Way, Youngsville, North Carolina.

The family will assemble on Sunday, March 29, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. at the home of Felecia Solomon, 1431 US Highway 1 North, Norlina, North Carolina.
