Agnes (Dent) Alston

During this moment of sadness, R. H. Greene Funeral Home joins hands with the relatives of Mrs. Agnes D. Alston, age 85 of 290 Gillis Alston Road, who transitioned on Thursday, November 12, 2020 at the Rex Healthcare Center in Raleigh, North Carolina.

A Celebration of Life will be conducted on Monday, November 16, 2020 at 1:00 p.m on the grounds of Fork Chapel Baptist Church in the Inez Community.  The Reverend Leon Carter will officiate and interment will follow in the Fork Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery in the Inez Community.

Left to cherish her memories are:  two daughters, Bernetta of Warrenton, North Carolina and Teresa of Clinton, North Carolina; one son, Anthony of Warrenton, North Carolina; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one sister, Mary Marshall (Willie) of Durham, North Carolina; one bonus son, Morris C. Alston of Castalia, North Carolina; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.

Mrs. Alston will lie in repose in the chapel of R. H. Greene Funeral Home on Sunday, November 15, 2020 from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m.
