Mrs. Katherine Jones Christmas, 96, daughter of the late Benjamin and Candies Jones, was born September 12, 1921 in Warrenton, North Carolina. She departed this life on May 17, 2018 at her home.
The Funeral Service will be conducted Friday, May 25, 2018 from the Snow Hill Baptist Church in the Snow Hill Community. Reverend Mary Hargrove and Reverend Candies Rudd will deliver the eulogy. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
She leaves to cherish her unforgettable memory, her children: Betty Terry, Candies Rudd, Mary Hargrove (Franklin), Katherine Richardson (Horace), Hinton Christmas, Jr., and Ethel Fogg; one adopted daughter: Nancy Lancaster (Martin); her daughter-in-law: Edith Hunter of Baltimore, MD: twenty grandchildren; fifty-five great-grandchildren; and ten great-great grandchildren; two sisters: Elizabeth Watson, and Alma Lee Perry, both of Warrenton, NC; and her sister-law: Kapana Jones of Warrenton, NC; and a hots of nieces, nephews, cousins, other loved-ones and friends.
