As Mason and I recall our memories of Jerome, smile after smile comes to our faces because we remember a young man who always greeted you with love, kindness, and much respect. His life was marked by an immense and enduring love for God. We loved being a part of his Sunday School class at Spring Green Missionary Baptist Church. Each Sunday he would use a demonstration to help us internalize the Word of God. Jerome had a peace about himself that could be felt when you were in his presence. The image of the butterfly comes to mind as we think of Jerome--Quiet, Graceful, Delicate, Strong.
