The Obituary
Frances Hunt Henderson, daughter of the late Dock Lee Hunt and Lillie Mae
Howard Hunt was born in Mecklenburg County, Virginia on October 18, 1948.
Peacefully, she departed this earthly life to began life eternally while in the
comfort of her home on Friday, February 15, 2019.
She attended the public schools of Warren County, North Carolina.
As a youth, Frances accepted Christ as her personal savior and attended the
Roanoke Chapel United Church of Christ. When not worshipping at Roanoke
Chapel, she attended other churches in the community.
In 2000, she was united in Holy Matrimony to the late Eugene “Tony” Talmadge
Henderson. After her nupitals, she attended Manson Baptist Church until her
health began to decline.
For many years, she was employed at Ann’s Country Kitchen. She was a faithful
and dedicated employee until her retirement in 2010.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by: two
brothers, Robert Hunt and Ronald Hunt and 1 grandson Deantae Seward.
Saddened by submitted to God’s will, memories will forever be cherished by: two
daughters, Cynthia Hunt of the home and Angela Hunt of Warrenton, North
Carolina; six grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren and three great-great
grandchildren; seven sisters, Ruth Russell of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Mary
Williams, Virgie Person, Thelma Hunt and Lucille Hunt all of Warrenton, North
Carolina, Verlean Hunt and Gladys Davis, both of Norlina, North Carolina; two
brothers, Johnnie Hunt of High Point, North Carolina and Clarence Hunt of
Norlina, North Carolina; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and
friends.
Frances Hunt Henderson was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend
who will be missed by her family and community. Thank you, Father God, for
sharing her life with us
