Dwight Wayne Jones, son of Jeffery L. Jones and Dorothy L. Jones
was born March 7, 1959 in Warren Country, NC. He departed this life
on September 8, 2018 at Transitions LifeCare Hospice in Raleigh, NC. He was
the fourth oldest child out of eight children. He was also a father of one son, Dwight W.
Reeves residing in Henderson, NC.Dwight received his education in
Warrenton, NC and Newark, NJ. After High School, he enlisted in the
United States Army and served from 1978 to 1984. In 1984, he received an honorable discharge.
Dwight was employed at Bolton’s Backhoe Service in Warren County for a number of years.
He was a very hard worker and enjoyed spending time with family. Dwight loved watching football.
Dwight’s favorite motto was “Life is good.” Dwight is preceded in death by his father, Jeffery L.
Jones.Dwight leaves to cherished his precious memories, his mother, Dorothy L. Jones; two sisters,
Annetta M.Carter (Ronald D., Sr.) and Carolyn D. Jones; seven brothers, Carlton D. Jones (Annie H.),
Timothy M. Jones, Stanley C. Jones, Samuel L. Jones (Geraldine D.), Milton L. Hargrove, Clarence Hargrove and Bruce
Hargrove; seven aunts, Margaret E. Palmer, Alice R. Hendricks, Ella A. Hargrove, Betty L. Burnette, Rosa E.Jones, Hattie Jones
and Lucinda Jones, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
