Dora Lee Hawley

Dora Lee Hawley, quietly and peacefully entered the Loving Arms of her Savior Jesus Christ on April 1, 2018 at Warren Hills Nursing Center in Warrenton, North Carolina. Dora Lee was born in New York City on August 21, 1938 to the late Robert and Blanche Meyers.

Dora Lee was educated in the New York City Schools.  1962 she relocated to Warrenton, North Carolina and made it her home where she worked as a seamstress for many years and later married Marlee Hawley.  To this union one daughter was born Blanche Marie Hawley Royall.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories one daughter Blanche Marie Royall of Raleigh, North Carolina (Donnie). Granddaughter's, Angela Dorian Johnson of Greensboro, North Carolina that has always been the apple of her eye and became the primary caregiver over the past year.  LaGracia McClain of Greensboro, North Carolina that stepped in and assisted taking care of her grandmother. Tonya Royall of Wilson, North Carolina, Ashanti Royall and Naleighna Royall of Raleigh, North Carolina. Two grandsons, Anthony Johnson of Raleigh, North Carolina and Miguel Royall of Sacramento California.  One brother whom she loved dearly Frankie Mozell, Sr (Dorthea) of Springfield, Massachusetts. Two Nephews, Frankie Mozell, Jr (Crystal) and Robert Mozell of Springfield Mass. Two God Daughters Linda Swinton of New York City, and Elaine Hendrick (Vance) of Warrenton, North Carolina. Special friends, Sister, Phyllis Davis (Charles), Deacon James Baker, Sister Cynthia Morris, and Sister Harriet Daniels. A host of cousins and friends
